yesterday it was snowing all day long! I love winter, and I love snow! but I hate it, when it turns into mud the minute it hits the ground. and in big cities like vienna this happens very quickly.

we went christmas-shopping yesterday, which is kind of suicidal on the last saturday before christmas, because the whole town is doing the same. add some slippery roads and annoyed drivers and you get what we got *lol*

nevertheless I enjoyed the christmassy weather and I decided to do a snowy manicure with some rhinestones and one of my favorite polishes.

heute trage ich caribbean blue, ein hellblau mit kleinen glass flecks, und darüber auf anfrage ein stamping mit h24 und weiss. topcoat ist fairy dust von china glaze, leider nicht so gut zu sehen, auf dem verschwommenen foto erkennt man es etwas besser, das blau entspricht aber dem auf dem oberen foto.
today I'm wearing caribbean blue, a light blue with small glass flecks. on request I stamped with h24 and white. as topcoat I used fairy dust from china glaze, you can see the glitter in the blurry pic, the blue is like in the first pic.

diesen frankie hatte ich schon lange in planung. allerdings hatte ich die benötigte base-farbe nicht auf vorrat, und da es sich um eine le handelte, hatte ich auch wenig hoffnung, diesen lack wieder zu finden. doch ich hatte glück! und ich liebe das ergebnis (das irl noch viel mehr glitzert!)
I've been planing this frankie vor a long time, but I didn't have the basecolor I wanted to use. and this had been part of a le, so I wasn't expecting to find this polish again. but I was lucky enough to get it! and I love the result (which is even more sparkling irl!)

kleine nebengeschichte: nachdem ich heute morgen seit tagen die ersten sonnenstrahlen gesehen habe, habe ich sofort den lack aufgetragen und bin dann wörtlich den halben vormittag mit lackflasche und fotoapparat bewaffnet am fenster gestanden und habe gewartet, dass die strahlen über das dach gegenüber wandern und zum fenster hereinfallen. und just in dem moment, als es soweit war, kam eine riesige wolke und schob sich vor die sonne. ich stand da wie ein begossener pudel und habe blitzfotos gemacht, hochgeladen und in den blog geladen. und als ich fertig war kam die sonne wieder hervor! wie der blitz bin ich also wieder zum fenster gestürmt und habe doch noch sonnenfotos schiessen können ^^

little sidestory: when I saw the first rays of sun in days this morning I immediately applied this polish and was literally waiting the whole morning, with the polishbottle in one and camera in the other hand, for the sun to climb the roof and shine into my window. and right when the time had come a huge cloud appeared and hid the sun! crestfallen I shot some flash pictures, uploaded them and put them onto the blog. when I was done, sun came out again and I hurried to the window and got my sunlighpics ^^

das kommt dabei raus, wenn man die schönheit von gestern "silver stars" mit einem nicht zu deckenden schwarzen lack (s-he 303 schwarz mit feinem silber schimmer) mischt.

silver stars (2 coats) ist ein sehr dichter silberner microglitter gemischt mit holo microglitter. der lack ist fast deckend, obwohl er nur aus glitter besteht! dadurch wird er unglaublich glitzernd. einfach wunderschön! er ist fast zu dicht zum layern!

silver stars (2 coats) is a very dense silver microglitter mixed with holo microglitter. it's pretty opaque by being just glitter and that makes it so sparkly. this polish is just beautiful! it's almost too dense to be layered.

ich hatte euch ja schon einmal von den china glaze kaleidoscope lacken berichtet. damals hatte ich nur einen, aber versprochen, dass dies nicht der einzige bleiben wird. versprechen gehalten ^^ da die lacke nicht mehr produziert werden, ist es gar nicht so einfach, alle töne zu bekommen, die man haben möchte. es gibt 2 kollektionen zu je 6 farbtönen, eine warme und eine kühle. ich habe je 2 von beiden, ein paar wären noch auf meiner liste gewesen, die gabs in dem shop aber leider nicht.
I've already done a review on one of the kaleidoscope polishes, and I promised i would get more of them. well, I did. there are 2 kaleidoscope collections, one with 6 warm and one with 6 cool shades. I got 2 of each.
