essence le – secrets of the past
this is another essence le I didn’t really care about. the colors are very retro, nothing special at first sight. but yesterday I found them on sale and I thought it wouldn’t hurt to get them anyways ^^
I only got 2 of them though and I kind of regret leaving the other 2 in the store. maybe I’ll pick them up next time.
here we go:
meet you in budapest: this is a very nice dark teal creme, right in between green and blue. I have a lot of teals, but this one is the most perfect, so I’m happy I decided to buy this.
matryoshka doll: a dark brown creme, very muddy. first I thought it’s similar to jacques, but it’s not. this one is much darker and deeper. I really like this one, and the funny thing is, that my mum just gave me my old, originally russian matryoshka dolls (we used to call them babushka), which I loved to play with many many years ago!
the formula on these was good, a bit runny, but still opaque. I used 2 coats and a topcoat on the pics. brush as always.

nivea pure diamond collection (+ h23)
yesterday I found a new nivea display called diamond collection, with 3 autumnally shades of polish. one was a berry pink, one was a darker nude/beige and one was a reddish brown. that was the one I chose, because I already have polishes very similar to the others, and 10€ (15$) for one bottle of drugstorepolish is not exactly cheap, right?
berry charms is a medium redtoned brown creme. in some lighting it looks pinktoned. the formula was thick and sticky, so it was difficult to apply. I thought I would like this one more, but it’s to warm for my skintone.
I added some china glaze magic matte topcoat and stamped with h23 and china glaze cherish.

...I did it again... water marbling herbst
hatte heute irgendwie lust, das marmorieren nochmal zu probieren, und diesmal hats auch viel besser geklappt. beim nächsten mal werde ich davon fotos machen und meine tricks posten ;-)
dies als kleine inspiration für den contest:
today I felt like doing another water marbling, and this time it went pretty well. next time I'll make some pictures and tell you about my tricks ;-)

herbstzeit - erntedankzeit. das genaue datum variiert von land zu land, morgen ist es in kanada soweit, daher poste ich es heute ;-)

quickie: s-he 439
Labels: black, brown, duochrome, glitter, s-he stylezoneein schöner, herbstlicher ton ist mir gestern ins körbchen gesprungen. ich bin nicht sicher, ob die farbe neu oder limitiert ist, sie ist mir aber zum ersten mal aufgefallen.
a gorgeous, autumnally shade jumped into my basket yesterday. I'm not sure, if this polish is new or limited, but I saw it for the first time.
