rbl scrangie vs. bb couture venice party
first time I saw scrangie on scrangie’s blog it totally reminded me of bb couture’s venice party. but now that I got them both in my hands I have to say that I was mistaken.

I’m sorry to disappoint everyone who was hoping for a scrangie dupe, but this one is absolutely not. I don’t even need to explain the difference, because it’s pretty obvious. again, I’m wondering, if my scrangie version differs from scrangie’s, because the pictures look so different.
in the last post I was telling you, that I couldn’t use the fast drying tc on scrangie, because it was shrinking. I applied the two polishes yesterday evening without using tc and waited for 3hrs before I went to bed. this is how it looked this morning (all fingers did).
you see, that’s why it’s essential to me that a polish can be combined with a fast drying tc o_O

BB couture - erotic night
yesterday I found this polish in my stash, I totally forgot about this! I ordered it along with some other bb couture polishes some time ago.
erotic night is a vampy jelly pink, (or redtoned purple. maybe a pinktoned red. or berry. lol I always have troubles describing this kind of color!) with a subtle shimmer. I used 3 coats, because the finish kept being blotchy. I really like this color, from a distance it’s almost black and the cool tone makes my skin look “snow whity” ;-)
but: I used poshè fast drying topcoat, and this caused what-is-known-as “shrinkage”. I have to say, that I never really had troubles with poshè except in combination with bb couture. and I use it all the time! so the next picture was taken the next morning:
the funny thing is, that the polish is shrinking on the cuticle side, not the tip.

ein lila-blau mit blauem schimmer und vereinzeltem glitzer. dieser lack wirkt besonders in der sonne und in direkter beleuchtung. die farbe in meiner sammlung einzigartig und gefällt mir wirklich ausgesprochen! sie erinnert mich etwas an scrangie by rescue beauty lounge! moon over manhattan

bb couture part 2 - midnight malibu & dragon's breath
da ich krank bin spare ich mir langes geschwafel und gehe gleich zu den bildern über.

midnight malibu
schöööön! es sieht wie violett in der flasche aus, aber es ist ein dunkles blau mit tonnenweise violettem, silbernem und türkisem glitter. der lack sieht wirklich wie ein sternenklaren nachthimmel aus. absolut traumhaft! 2 coats, benötigt topcoat.
dunkles pink mit haufenweise pinkem, blauem und silbernem glitter. ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob mir diese farbe gefällt. ich bin ja nicht so der pinktyp. aber mit dem ganzen glitter hat der lack schon etwas! und er ist auch sehr herbstlich. 2 coats + topcoat.matte finish over glitter

bb couture greens & matte finish
hier sind sie also, ein paar der grünen bb couture nagellacke: (fotos in unterschiedlichem licht gemacht, leider keine sonne)
ein tolles creme-tannengrün, in etwa vergleichbar mit orly enchanted forest, da werde ich noch einen vergleich machen.
ein mittleres grasgrün (oder olivgrün) mit goldenem und grünem schimmer bzw microglitter.
ein dünkleres olivegrün mit dem gleichen schimmer (oder vl einen ticken dünkler) wie iced olive. dieser lack wurde für männer entworfen, aber ehrlich gesagt kenne ich keinen mann, meinen eingeschlossen, der mutig genug wäre, nagellack zu tragen ^^
dieser topcoat erzielt einen anderen effekt als die matten tc, die ich bisher hatte. der essie nimmt komplett den glanz, der orly satinieren die oberfläche. der bb couture hingegen ist milchig und hellt die farbe etwas auf. der glanz wird abgeschwächt, aber nicht komplett genommen. trotzdem sieht die farbe irgendwie matt aus. ich habe es noch nicht getestet, aber ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass der matte bb auf glitterlacken nicht so gut funktioniert. das werde ich bei der nächsten bb couture review sicher testen. die trocknungszeit war relativ lang, verglichen mit den anderen.

Labels: bb couturevor einigen tagen habe ich meine ersten bb couture lacke bestellt. ich habe bei overall beauty bestellt, die lacke sind auch bei bb nailpolish erhältlich, allerdings versenden die nicht international.
kim von overall beauty ist sehr nett und hat mir neben meiner bestellung jede menge lacke zum testen mitgeschickt! hier die lacke (und dahinter das küchenwaschbecken ^^):
