astor diamond collection silver + m56
bei dm habe ich einen aufsteller von astor gefunden, ich weiss allerdings nicht, ob der silver tatsächlich ein neuer lack ist, oder nur in den aufsteller gepackt wurde. auf jeden fall sieht er gut aus!
I found a display of astor with some polish, but I don't know if it's new colors, or just some old packed into a new collection. but it looks great!
silver ist ein metallic silber (nona), das sehr gut deckt und kaum pinselstriche zeigt, wie es bei metalliclacken vorkommen kann. der lack lässt sich gut auftragen und trocknet relativ schnell. der pinsel ist schön breit, genauso wie ich es mag. dieser lack reiht sich perfekt in die reihe der aktuellen chromes (oder khromes ;-) ein.
is a metallic silver (wouldn't you know), very opaque and little brushstrokes. application was great, it dried quickly. the brush is rather wide, which I like very much. this polish integrates into the new chromes (or khromes ;-) perfectly.

quickie: china glaze outta bounds
dieser lack kam 2007 heraus. trotzdem passt er perfekt in diese saison. er ist grün & er ist metallic.
this polish was released in 2007. nevertheless it's the perfect fit for this season. it's green & it's metallic.
outta bounds ist ein mittelgrüner metalliclack mit zusätzlichem ausgeprägtem schimmer. ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, ob er blau- oder gelbstichig ist. mal sieht er so aus, mal so. ich denke, das macht die farbe zum perfekten grünton.
der lack ist sehr gut deckend, die applikation war problemlos, fast keine pinselstriche zu sehen, wie es sonst bei metalliclacken passieren kann.
is a middlegreen metallic shade with an additional distinct shimmer. I can't decide whether it's blue or yellow toned. I guess that's what makes a perfect green.
the polish is very opaque, application was smooth, almost no brushstrokes.

alessandro be a star le
es gibt eine neue le von alessandro, und diesmal sind wieder richtig tolle lacke dabei! sie schreien förmlich "weihnachten!" (zu den bildern muss ich dazu sagen, dass die sonne nun endgültig ihren winterschlaf angetreten hat. heute hat es sogar schon geschneit! daher müsst ihr mit kunstlichtfotos vorlieb nehmen, allerdings farbecht!)
alessandro has launched a new le, and again there are some gorgeous colors amongst them! they are all screaming "christmas!" (about the pictures I have to say, that the sun finally has gone into hibernation. today it was even snowing! so I had to deal with different artificial lightings, true colors though!)

kühler goldglitter in einer farblosen base. sehr dichter glitter, 3 coats auf dem foto. sehr sehr schön!cool goldglitter in a transparent base. very dense, 3 coats on the pic. very very beautiful!
kühles metallicgold, fast schon taupe. seht gut deckend. von dem bin ich total begeistert, da mir gold sonst nie steht, dieser kühle ton allerdings schon! 2 coats.
cool metallic gold, almost taupe. very opaque. I love this, usually gold doesn't match my skintone, but this cool shade does! 2 coats.

hier trage ich eine schicht goldglitter über 2 schichten metallic gold. fabelhaft!!

dieser lack hat mir einen herrlichen lacher beschert. violette base mit blauem microglitter, silbernem glitter und rot-grün changierenden flakes. 3 coats. kommt euch bekannt vor? ich sag nur "merry midnight"! direktvergleich kommt!

kirschrotes jelly (beinahe pink) mit rotem und schwarzem glitter und roten hexaglitter partikeln. ich liebe die idee dahinter, aber mit der ausführung haperts. der lack braucht 3 coats, um gleichmässig zu sein. in der flasche sieht er sehr glittrig aus, für meinen geschmack ist aber zu wenig glitter drinnen. va den hexaglitter hätten sie sich sparen können, da so wenig im lack ist, dass ich erst dachte, ich bin mit dem pinsel irgendwo versehentlich angekommen. cherryred jelly (almost pink) with red and black glitter and red hexaglitter. I love the idea, but the outcome doesn't satisfy me. it needs 3 coats to get even. it looks much more sparkling in the bottle than on the nail and they could have spared the hexaglitter, because there's so few in the polish, it looks like it doesn't belong there.
coal with turquoise microglitter and silver glassfleck. looks like tar. interesting, but I like this the least, removing was horrible. but it's opaque, this is 2 coats.
die lacke waren allesamt sehr unterschiedlich, auch die pinsel. aber keiner davon war nennenswert toll oder schrecklich. naja, der rote vielleicht. alles in allem finde ich die le richtig toll, ein paar andere farben gibt es noch, ein grauer metallicton und ein paar rote. ich kann nur sagen, geht und kauft sie euch!
the formula was differently on all polishes, also the brushes. but non of them was noteworthy great or horrible. well, maybe the red one. overall I love this le, there were a few more shades, a grey metallic and some reds. all I can say is go and buy it!

l'oreal resist & shine black gloss part 2
da es diese woche bei müller -25% in der parfumerie gibt, habe ich mir doch noch 2 der black gloss lacke geholt. den braunen gabs nicht mehr (macht nichts), aber khaki hätte ich sehr gerne, nur den gibts bei uns gar nicht :-(
die fotos wurden bei unterschiedlicher beleuchtung gemacht, nur sonne gabs leider keine.
this week there's 25% off all perfumery products in on of our shopping stores so I decided to get more of the black gloss polishes. the brown was out of stock (never mind) but I would love to get the khaki shade, which isn't available in austria :-(

black violet ist ein schwarz mit violett schimmer. der lack ist sehr dunkel und auf die distanz sieht es eher wie ein navyblau aus. die farbe gefällt mir sehr gut, die applikation war gut, die konsistenz ebenso.
black purple ist eher ein geschwärztes metallic-pflaume. die farbe kommt mehr durch als bei violet, gefällt mir aber nicht so gut. die konsistenz war eher klebrig, das auftragen dadurch schwieriger.click to read more...
